Jesus' Little Lambs
Families are important and we want to support all those faithful parents who are raising their children for the Lord during difficult times.
Our children's education program includes Sunday morning Children's Church during the school year. Children join us for the early part of the worship service and are then dismissed following the Children's Message. Children return to their families after the sermon, and in time to join their families during Holy Communion.
We also have several special family events during the year including a Fall Festival in October, a children's Christmas party, and an Easter Party in the Park. Watch this website for more details.

You can bless your neighbors in Chilliwack
Through our partnership with other organizations in downtown Chilliwack you can make life a little easier for struggling individuals and families.
During the summer months we will be collecting non-perishable breakfast foods for the Cyrus Center Youth Shelter and Outreach Program. Cyrus Center is the only organization in Chilliwack specifically reaching out in love to teenagers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The breakfast program provides a nourishing start to the day for teens who might otherwise go without food. We will be collecting cereal that teens would enjoy and individually wrapped snacks such as granola bars. You may bring your gifts of love to the church anytime we are open.

Worship in person or online at 10:00 am Sundays The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at each Sunday worship service God gathers us together in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the name into which we were baptized. He gathers us to receive His gifts—Himself, His name, His flesh and blood Son, His Word of pardon and peace, His life, His grace and Spirit. In the Divine Service He distributes these gifts to us. Here we receive the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation Christ won for us on the cross. God calls and gathers us into His holy Christian church where we have communion with Him and all His saints in heaven and on earth. Heaven and earth intersect in the Divine Service. What does Lutheran worship look and sound like?

Christian Education isn't only for children. God's family of all ages can benefit from regular instruction in the Word of God. Come and join with others in this journey of faith through the Bible. New participants are always welcome at any of our education programs and you need not be a member of our congregation.
CHILDREN'S EDUCATION
During the school year (September-June) children are dismissed just prior to the sermon for Children's Church with an age-appropriate Bible lesson while their parents listen to Pastor's message. The children return to their families in time for communion. We also have Busy Bags with quiet toys for the young children as well as a Parents' Room with one way glass if parents need a quiet place to take their little ones.

Introducing .... We're not sure yet! In late 2024 we celebrated with our retiring Pastor, Rev. Wayne Lunderby, who is beginning the next chapter of his life and his walk with the Lord. We were blessed to have Pastor and his wife Cindy lead us for over 25 years! So, now we have begun the process to find our next Pastor. We expect this process will take some time, so, in the meantime we are so blessed to have several other retired Pastors in our congregation who have stepped up to lead us in worship each Sunday. Thank you to Rev. William Mundt, Rev. Ray Maher and Rev. Dave Hilderman. In our church body, the process of "calling" involves the congregation prayerfully considering the names of potential Pastors, submitted by our members for consideration. After some research and much prayer, we then vote to extend a call to the man we believe God is directing our way. While we might not know yet who our next Pastor will be, God already knows the answer to that question and so we trust His timing. We are still here ...
Blessed to Serve
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We have only a small paid staff, relying instead on our many members who serve the Lord by serving our church and our community. From time to time we have vacancies in these important roles. For information about how you can bless others through our ministry please contact the church office at [email protected] or 604-792-9577.
Feeling Techy? ... We could use your tech skills in our media program. We are looking for someone to join the team of Media Shout presenters, operating the system that projects the worship service onto the screen in the sanctuary.
We also need at least one more person to operate our worship streaming system. This involves operating the cameras and the broadcast console during the worship service.
If you would like to learn more about these positions, please contact the church office.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group is for Middle School and High School students. Many in this group also attend our Confirmation Class.
